I saw Barry at the Lakeside Jazz Festival over the weekend. What a great guitarist! Having played myself for over 4 decades, I can at least recognize talent - and Barry has talent.
Thanks for a great addition to the show.

I've been working out of your Advanced Jazz Guitar Improv book. I wantted to say thanks. It's great having all this info in one source. The hardest thing I know is to not force these concepts into your playing, but to take the time to really learn to hear the harmony and allow it to surface on it's own. I'm sure you know what I mean. My solution is to work the tunes in practise and wait...patient;y. Any thoughts?

Hey Barry,
Really diggin' the new clips you've posted. The musicianship is absolutely top notch, as should be expected with any project you're involved with. Great to hear the other guys again too. By the way, the guitar playing and tone is phenomenal as always. Is that my guitar? Sounds like it. No wonder I need a re-fret. :)

Just heard you on the REDJAZZ.com PodCast and once again, the superior and most instering players can be found by looking further than focused monetary presentation. You are one of those gifted individuals. I am glad my son gave me this iPOD for christmas. However, listening to you makes me want to sell my PRS Archtop...

Wow! Just "discovered" you thanks to the No Idle Frets Podcast and I am blown away. As student of Jazz guitar with Mike Ess in Richmond VA (he is proffesor of Jazz studies, VCU) I am always looking for inspiration to keep me going. I would very much like to have an autographed photo of yourself if available. Thank you.
