New Lesson Video - Airegin by Sonny Rollins

DSC 4857

I've uploaded a new lesson video. This month I look at the Sonny Rollins classic "Airegin". I discuss micro chord progressions, the dominant approach and diminished I chord sounds. The included pdf file features an entire chorus of 8th note lines transcribed in tab and notation. 19.99

New Video Lesson - 200 Measures of Lines:)

PA posterATL

My most ambitious video project to date, "Just Lines" features 11 pages of transcribed linear material in both tab and notation. The PDF weighs in at over 200 measures of me playing lines over the most common progressions found in jazz tunes. None of this was rehearsed. I wanted the material in this lesson to be fresh and spontaneous. This material represents an honest representation of the way I approach harmony. I cover II-V's in major and minor, non-resolving dominant chords and modal applications. You won't be disappointed! Video and PDF
